Internal Complaint Committee

The Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) at our institution is dedicated to fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all campus community members. We are committed to addressing and resolving issues related to harassment, discrimination, and other forms of misconduct.
Mission

The goal of the ICC is to provide a campus where each person is cherished, safe, and respected. Our mission is to foster an environment of empathy and respect where everyone in the community can prosper without worrying about prejudice or harassment. We keep a close eye out to make sure that any instances of misbehavior are dealt with promptly and efficiently, creating a welcoming environment for everyone.
Aims
Addressing Complaints: The ICC is tasked with receiving and addressing complaints related to sexual harassment, gender-based discrimination, and other forms of misconduct. We handle these complaints with sensitivity, confidentiality, and impartiality to ensure a fair process for all parties involved.
Raising Awareness and Preventing Misconduct: We conduct awareness programs, workshops, and seminars to educate the campus community about their rights and responsibilities. These initiatives are aimed at preventing incidents of harassment and discrimination by fostering a well-informed and proactive environment.
Providing Support and Guidance: The ICC offers guidance and support to individuals who have experienced harassment or discrimination. We assist them in navigating the reporting process and accessing the necessary resources to address their concerns and ensure their well-being.
Ensuring Policy Compliance: The ICC ensures that the institution adheres to all relevant laws and policies regarding harassment and discrimination, including the Prevention of Sexual Harassment at Workplace Act. We are committed to maintaining a compliant and respectful campus environment.
Grievance Redressal: Beyond handling specific complaints, the ICC provides a grievance redressal mechanism to address broader issues and concerns related to harassment, discrimination, or misconduct. This mechanism ensures that all grievances are resolved fairly and effectively.
Informing an Incident: We urge you to report any instances of harassment or discrimination you may have witnessed or experienced to the ICC. We will treat your information with the utmost confidentially and promptly take appropriate action.
