Feedback Mechanism

Feedback Data Collection:

At St. Aloysius College, the feedback process is designed to actively gather input from various stakeholders—students, teachers, alumni, parents and employers. The goal is to ensure the institution can continuously improve in areas such as curriculum, academic performance, and the overall learning environment. The feedback forms, structured with two key types of statements—statements on quality and statements of agreement—help gauge satisfaction and identify areas that need attention.

The Feedback Committee, prepares different stakeholders feedback forms to ensure all important areas are covered. After the questionnaire is finalized, it is reviewed during a scheduled IQAC working group meeting, where any final adjustments are made before approval. Once approved, the feedback forms are shared with the respective departments through IQAC representatives, heads of departments, or course coordinators. Most of the data collection happens online, with the feedback forms distributed via WhatsApp groups to ensure easy communication with different stakeholders. This system allows the feedback to be gathered efficiently and shared with the right departments, enabling them to address concerns and make improvements where necessary.

Through this well-organized process, St. Aloysius College ensures that feedback is not just collected but effectively used to enhance both academic quality and the overall student experience

Feedback Analysis Report:

The feedback data, stored in an Excel file, is shared with each department to review responses from different stakeholders on aspects like teaching, learning, infrastructure, facilities, and student support. Each department conducts its own analysis, creating visual representations to highlight key areas such as curriculum, academic performance, and the overall college environment.

A department-level report is then generated, summarizing the feedback from stakeholders. Departments may also include their own additional feedback data, ensuring a more comprehensive analysis that reflects their specific concerns.

Once the departmental feedback reports are finalized, they are submitted to the IQAC. The IQAC further analyzes the data, both quantitatively and qualitatively, using visual tools to present the findings. These reports are then compiled into a consolidated institutional feedback report, which highlights strengths and areas for improvement. This thorough analysis enables the college to address specific concerns and continuously improve the quality of education and overall experience for all stakeholders.

Feedback Action Taken Report:

Based on the feedback collected and analyzed from various stakeholders, each department develops an action plan to address the concerns and areas for improvement identified in the feedback. These actions may include modifications to the curriculum, enhancements in teaching methods, improvements in infrastructure, or better student support services.

The department prepares an Action Taken Report based on students' feedback, outlining the steps taken to address the issues raised. This report is then submitted to the IQAC, which consolidates all departmental reports into a comprehensive institutional action plan

The IQAC ensures that this action plan is communicated to the appropriate governing bodies, such as the university and college management, for review and approval. This systematic approach ensures that the feedback from stakeholders leads to meaningful changes, helping to improve the overall quality of education and services provided by the college.
