Aloysian Centre for Lifelong Learning (ACLL)

The Aloysian Centre for Lifelong Learning (ACLL) is a visionary initiative by St. Aloysius College, designed to cultivate a culture of continuous education within the community. In recognition of Thrissur Corporation& recent designation by UNESCO as a Learning City, ACLL was launched on November 24, 2023. The center was officially inaugurated by the Hon’ Mayor of Thrissur, M. K. Varghese, who also unveiled the logo for this new educational venture.
ACLL embodies a commitment to making education accessible and meaningful for individuals of all ages. The center serves as a beacon of learning, offering a diverse range of programs that extend from basic education to advanced skill development. Whether the goal is to enhance literacy, acquire new professional skills, or explore new interests, ACLL is dedicated to empowering the community through lifelong learning opportunities. By bridging educational gaps and integrating modern technologies, ACLL ensures that learning remains a vital part of life, helping individuals grow both personally and professionally throughout their lives.

Target Audience and Programs
The center's programs are designed for individuals of all ages, with a particular focus on adults residing within the Thrissur Corporation limits.ACLL offers a variety of short-term training programs to cater to different

Community Focus
To ensure accessibility and convenience, ACLL has established an extension center at the Insight Counseling Centre in Kannapuram, Chettupuzha. The training programs are provided free of charge, with only a nominal registration fee of Rs. 100/- collected. Upon successful completion of the courses, participants receive certificates, empowering them with new skills and knowledge to enhance their personal and professional lives.
The ACLL represents a significant step forward in cultivating a lifelong learning culture within Thrissur, aligning with the global recognition of the city as a UNESCO Learning City.
